QR code generator

Your own payment code, made from your own UPI ID

Put in the UPI ID your bank gave you. We build the standard upi:// payment string and turn it into a QR code that GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM and every bank app can read.

The money goes straight from the customer to your bank. We are not in the middle, we take no cut, and we never see the payment.

Your UPI details

The ID your bank or payment app shows you. It has an @ in it.

Leave this empty so the customer can type any amount.

Fill the form and your QR code shows up here.

1024 px is fine for a visiting card or a menu. 2048 px is for a shutter poster or a flex board.

Make this permanent

Nothing you type here is sent to us. The code is built inside your browser.

Where to find your UPI ID

A UPI ID always has an @ in it, like ravi.sharma@okhdfcbank or 9876543210@ybl. It is not your account number and it is not safe to guess.

  • Google Pay: tap your photo, then Bank accounts, then your bank. The UPI IDs are listed there.
  • PhonePe: tap your photo, then the UPI section. Your ID is shown at the top.
  • Paytm: open UPI settings inside the Paytm app. The ID ends in @paytm.
  • BHIM: it is on the home screen under your name.
  • Your bank app: look for "UPI ID" or "VPA" in the UPI menu.

Fixed amount or open amount

If you set a fixed amount, print a separate code for each price. One code cannot ask a question.

Leave the amount emptyThe customer types whatever they owe. Right for a kirana shop, a salon or a repair job.
Set a fixed amountThe app opens with that exact number filled in. Right for one fixed price: a class fee, a delivery charge, a ticket.

Make and check your UPI QR

  1. 1. Type your UPI ID exactly as your app shows it, including the part after the @.
  2. 2. Add the name you want the customer to see when their app opens.
  3. 3. Leave the amount empty unless you sell one thing at one price.
  4. 4. Download the PNG. 1024 px for a counter card, 2048 px for a board.
  5. 5. Send one rupee to it from your own phone before you print. If the name that shows up is yours, the code is correct.

What this tool does not do

  • It does not open a merchant account for you. This code pays into the bank account already linked to your UPI ID.
  • It does not add GST or a bill. It is a payment request, not an invoice.
  • It does not track who paid. Your bank app and your passbook do that.
  • It does not take a commission, because we are never part of the transfer.

Common questions

Is it safe to share my UPI ID in a QR code?
Yes. A UPI ID is made for receiving money, like a phone number is made for receiving calls. Someone who has it can send you money, not take it. Never share your UPI PIN or an OTP.
Do you take a commission on the payment?
No. The QR code sends money straight from the customer app to your bank. We are not in the path, so there is nothing for us to cut.
Will this work with GPay and PhonePe both?
Yes. The code holds the standard upi:// string, which is the same format every UPI app in India reads.
Why does my payment app say invalid QR?
The UPI ID is usually mistyped. Check the part after the @, it is the bank handle and it must be exact. Also make sure there are no spaces.
Can I put a fixed amount and change it later?
Not on the printed code. Once printed, the amount is fixed. Print a fresh code when your price changes, or leave the amount empty from the start.
Is this the same as the QR my bank gave me?
It does the same job. The bank code often carries a merchant ID and a signature. This one carries your plain UPI ID, which every app accepts.

Payment is one question. Customers ask ten.

A free Ahoyy page holds your rates, your photos, your timings and a pay button. One QR instead of a wall of them.
