Where shop owners actually stick it
- • On the counter, next to the payment QR, so a waiting customer reads your rate list instead of standing idle.
- • On the shutter. People who come after closing time still get your number and your timings.
- • On the delivery box of your bike or auto. The person behind you in traffic is a customer.
- • On the bill book or the carry bag, so a happy customer can pass you on.
- • On the glass door, facing outward, so the code is scannable from the footpath.
What link should the QR open
This is the part people get wrong. A QR code is only as useful as the page behind it.

Make it, print it, test it
- 1. Type your shop name so it prints under the code.
- 2. Paste the link the QR should open. You can skip https:// and we add it.
- 3. Download the 2048 px PNG for anything bigger than an A4 sheet.
- 4. Get it printed on matte sticker paper. Glossy paper reflects light and phones struggle.
- 5. Scan it yourself, then ask one customer to scan it. If both work, print the rest.

Common questions
- Can one QR code do payment and show my shop details?
- A single code holds one link. If you want both, point the QR at a shop page that has a pay button on it. Then one square does the whole job.
- My shop has no website. What link do I put?
- Use your Google Maps listing, your WhatsApp link, or make a free Ahoyy shop page. The Ahoyy page is the only one of the three where you can put your rate list.
- Will the code stop working if I close for a month?
- No. The code is just a printed pattern. It keeps pointing at the same link whether your shop is open or shut.
- What if my phone number changes after I print 500 stickers?
- That is the real risk with a printed QR. Point it at a page you control instead of at the number itself, then change the number on the page and every printed sticker stays correct.
- Do customers need an app to scan it?
- No. Every normal phone camera in India reads QR codes now. They just point and tap the link that pops up.
