What each one actually costs

Blinq publishes four tiers in US dollars. Free is $0 and gives you two cards. Premium is $9.99 a month, or $7.33 a month if you pay a year up front, and lifts you to five cards plus the contact scanner and AI features. Business is $6.99 per card per month with a five card minimum, so $34.95 a month is the real entry point for a team, dropping to $4.99 per card per month on annual billing. Enterprise is quoted, not published.

Ahoyy is free forever for the part most people need: your card, your public page, the QR code, WhatsApp sharing, your saved contacts on a map, and two directory email reveals a day. If you need more reveals, a Rs 199 one-time top-up gives you 25 of them for 30 days with no auto-renewal. Starter is Rs 299 a month and Pro is Rs 799 a month. Billing runs in rupees through Razorpay.

One honest note on the comparison. At the exchange rates most Indian buyers see, Blinq Premium for a year costs more than several years of Ahoyy Starter. That gap is real, but it buys different things. Read the two sections below before you decide it settles the question.

Where Blinq is the better pick

• • You want NFC. Blinq sells physical NFC cards and we sell no hardware. If tapping a card on a phone is the moment you are paying for, we are not the product.
• • You need contacts to land in a CRM. Blinq names HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Entra and Google Workspace. Ahoyy has no CRM integration of any kind.
• • You want the card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Blinq includes wallet passes on its free plan. We do not have this.
• • You want a normal app store install today. Blinq is on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The Ahoyy mobile app is distributed through TestFlight, so you either use the web app or ask us for a TestFlight invite.
• • You run a company that needs enforced SSO, SCIM provisioning and a named customer success manager. Blinq sells that as Enterprise. We have nothing at that level.
• • You want an established product with years of track record behind it. Blinq is a global company with a long history. Ahoyy is new, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

Where Ahoyy is the better pick

• • Your budget is in rupees. Free covers the whole core product, and the paid tiers are Rs 299 and Rs 799 a month with a Rs 199 one-time option. Blinq publishes no rupee price.
• • You have a shop, not just a job title. Ahoyy gives you a public page at ahoyy.app/b/your-shop with your service list and prices, photos, opening details, a map pin, enquiry and booking messages, and a UPI QR. That page is server-rendered so search engines can read it.
• • You want to be found, not just remembered. Our shop pages are built to be indexed. Personal cards at /u/ stay out of search on purpose, because phone numbers do not belong in Google.
• • You work in Hindi. The app, the business screens and our 12-category, 84-service taxonomy are all bilingual.
• • Your phonebook is the actual problem. Import from your phone with a duplicate filter, keep notes on a person, and record the place where you met them so the name means something a year later.
• • You take payments over UPI. Your shop page carries your UPI QR and we never touch the money or take a cut of it.
• • You want to try it without a card number. Nothing on the free tier asks for payment details.

Is Ahoyy a free Blinq alternative?

For the card itself, yes. Making a card, sharing it by link, QR or WhatsApp, and keeping your contacts is free forever on Ahoyy with no card details asked for. Blinq also has a genuine free plan, capped at 2 cards. Where the two products stop matching is NFC hardware, wallet passes and CRM sync, which Blinq has and we do not.

How much does Blinq cost in Indian rupees?

Blinq did not publish a rupee price on blinq.me/pricing when we checked on 31 July 2026. The listed prices are in US dollars: $9.99 a month for Premium, $7.33 a month on annual billing, and $6.99 per card per month for Business with a five card minimum. What you actually pay in India depends on your card issuer and the rate on the day.

Does Ahoyy sell NFC cards like Blinq does?

No. We sell no hardware. Ahoyy gives you the page and the free QR code that an NFC card would point at. If you already own a blank NFC card, most of them can be programmed with any web link, including your Ahoyy link.

Can I get Ahoyy from the App Store or Play Store?

Not yet. The Ahoyy mobile app is distributed through TestFlight. Everything else runs in a browser, so you can make your card, share it and manage your shop page without installing anything. Blinq is available on both public stores.

Does Blinq have a local business listing like Ahoyy shop pages?

Blinq is built around the person and their card. Ahoyy adds a business object on top of the card: a public shop page with your services and prices, photos, a map pin, enquiries and a UPI QR, at ahoyy.app/b/your-shop. If you need to be found by a customer who does not already know your name, that is the difference that matters.

Which one is better for a sales team?

Blinq, in most cases. Team management, lead capture, CRM sync and corporate contact books are exactly what its Business tier is for. Ahoyy has team invites, roles and seats for a business account, but no CRM integration and no lead routing.
