What each one actually costs

HiHello publishes four tiers in US dollars. Personal is free forever and gives you four cards, wallet passes and five card scans a month. Professional is $6 a month, or $72 for a year, and raises you to sixteen cards, twenty scans a month, contact enrichment and card analytics. Business is $5 per user per month, or $60 per user per year, sold for five to a hundred users, and unlocks unlimited cards, unlimited scans, event lead capture, team analytics, SSO and directory sync. Enterprise starts above a hundred users and is quoted.

Ahoyy is free forever for the core: your card, your public page, the QR code, WhatsApp sharing, your saved contacts on a map, and two directory email reveals a day. Need more reveals in a busy week and a Rs 199 one-time top-up gives you 25 of them for 30 days, with no auto-renewal. Starter is Rs 299 a month, Pro is Rs 799 a month, and billing runs in rupees through Razorpay.

HiHello has one of the more generous free tiers in this category, and it is fair to say so. Four cards and wallet passes for nothing is a real offer. The thing to look at closely is the scan cap. Five scans a month is thin if you come back from one event with a pocket full of cards.

Where HiHello is the better pick

• • You want more than one identity on the free plan. HiHello gives you four cards for nothing, which is useful if you keep work, side work and personal separate.
• • You want the card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. HiHello includes wallet passes from the free tier. Ahoyy does not have this.
• • You need contacts to land in a CRM. HiHello names Salesforce, HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics. Ahoyy has no CRM integration of any kind.
• • You want a normal app store install today. HiHello is on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The Ahoyy mobile app is distributed through TestFlight, so you either use the web app or ask us for a TestFlight invite.
• • You need email signatures and virtual backgrounds. Both are HiHello features from the free plan. We do not ship either.
• • Your company needs SOC 2, SAML, SCIM, verified badges and a named account manager. That is what HiHello Enterprise is for. We have nothing at that level.
• • You want an established product with a long track record. HiHello has been around for years. Ahoyy is new and we are not going to dress that up.

Where Ahoyy is the better pick

• • Your budget is in rupees. The core is free forever, and the paid tiers are Rs 299 and Rs 799 a month with a Rs 199 one-time option. HiHello publishes no rupee price.
• • You scan a lot of cards. Our card scanning is not metered by a monthly count. On HiHello the free plan stops at five scans a month.
• • You have a shop, not just a job title. Ahoyy gives you a public page at ahoyy.app/b/your-shop with your service list and prices, photos, a map pin, enquiry and booking messages, and a UPI QR.
• • You want to be found, not just remembered. Our shop pages are server-rendered so search engines can read them. Personal cards at /u/ stay out of search on purpose, because phone numbers do not belong in Google.
• • You work in Hindi. The app, the business screens and our 12-category, 84-service taxonomy are all bilingual.
• • Your phonebook is the actual problem. Import from your phone with a duplicate filter, keep notes on a person, and record the place where you met them.
• • You take payments over UPI. Your shop page carries your UPI QR and we never touch the money or take a cut of it.

Is Ahoyy a free HiHello alternative?

For the card and the contact book, yes. Making a card, sharing it by link, QR or WhatsApp, and keeping your contacts organised is free forever on Ahoyy. HiHello also has a real free plan with four cards. The gap is wallet passes, email signatures and CRM sync, which HiHello has and we do not.

How many cards does the HiHello free plan give you?

How much does HiHello cost in rupees?

HiHello did not publish a rupee price on its pricing page when we checked on 31 July 2026. The listed figures are $6 a month for Professional, $72 for a year, and $5 per user per month for Business. What you actually pay in India depends on your card issuer and the rate on the day.

What is the catch with the free scan limit?

HiHello caps card and badge scans at five a month on the free plan and twenty a month on Professional. That is fine for ordinary weeks and thin after an event. Ahoyy does not meter scanning with a monthly count.

Can I get Ahoyy from the App Store or Play Store?

Not yet. The Ahoyy mobile app is distributed through TestFlight. Everything else runs in a browser, so you can make your card, share it and manage your shop page without installing anything. HiHello is on both public stores.

Does HiHello list my business on a map like Ahoyy does?

HiHello is built around the person and the team. Ahoyy adds a business on top of the card: a public shop page with services and prices, photos, a map pin, enquiries and a UPI QR, at ahoyy.app/b/your-shop. If your problem is customers who do not know your name yet, that is the difference.
