Food sells on trust and on the number being handy at the exact minute someone is hungry. Your card has one job: be in the drawer when that minute comes.
Put your daily rate or your minimum order on the card. In food, the first question is always the price, and a card that answers it saves you ten calls that go nowhere.

The card is 3.5 x 2 inches, the normal Indian visiting card size. 1050 x 600 is 300 dpi, which every press accepts. Ask the printer to keep 3 mm bleed on all sides.
Paper runs out and numbers change. An Ahoyy card is the same card, on a link you can edit.
What belongs on a food business card
- • What you cook, in plain words. "Home style veg tiffin" beats "quality food service".
- • Veg, non-veg, or both. People decide on this before anything else.
- • Your delivery area, or the words "pickup only". This stops the most wasted calls.
- • A price anchor: per tiffin, per plate, or a minimum order for catering.
- • Timings, especially your last order time.
- • One WhatsApp number. Food orders come by WhatsApp, not by email.

Make your food business card
- 1. Type your kitchen or stall name and your own name.
- 2. Write one line about the food. Mention veg or non-veg.
- 3. Add your WhatsApp number, since almost every food order comes that way.
- 4. Keep the scan-to-save QR ticked. In the cake box or the tiffin box, that QR is what gets you saved as a contact.
- 5. Download the 2100 x 1200 file and give it to any local press.
One thing food businesses forget
Menus change with the season and rates change with the vegetable market. A printed card with a full menu on it is out of date before the box is empty.
Print the card with your name, your line of work and your number. Put the changing part, the menu and the rates, on a page behind the QR.
Common questions
- Should I print my whole menu on the visiting card?
- No. A card is 3.5 x 2 inches and a menu never fits at a readable size. Print two or three items and put the full menu behind the QR code.
- Do I need an FSSAI number on my card?
- If you have one, printing it builds trust and some housing societies ask for it. It is not something this tool checks or supplies.
- Is a card still useful when everyone orders on apps?
- Yes, and more so. Delivery apps take a large cut. A card brings the customer straight to you, and that order is fully yours.
- What size should I print for a tiffin box sticker?
- The card file here is 3.5 x 2 inches, which is the standard. For a box sticker ask the press to print the same file at 3 x 3 inches on vinyl.
- Can I make a card without a shop name?
- Yes. Many home kitchens use the cook name only, like "Meena kitchen". Put that in the business name field and your own name below it.
