Your card should say where you go, not just that you drive
A passenger who liked your driving will save your number only if the card tells them what you can do next time. Airport drops. Outstation. Full day. Write it down.
Transport is a trade where the customer keeps one number and calls it for years. Getting into that slot is worth a lot of printed cards.
Fill in your details and watch the card change
Drawing your card...
Optional. JPG, PNG or WebP. It is fitted into the corner at its own shape, so a wide logo stays wide.
The card is 3.5 x 2 inches, the normal Indian visiting card size. 1050 x 600 is 300 dpi, which every press accepts. Ask the printer to keep 3 mm bleed on all sides.
Paper runs out and numbers change. An Ahoyy card is the same card, on a link you can edit.
What transport customers need to know
- • Vehicle type and how many people or how much load it takes.
- • Routes you run often, or the cities you cover.
- • Airport, railway station and outstation work: say yes or no clearly.
- • Night service, if you do it. That alone gets you saved.
- • Whether the rate is per kilometre, per trip or per day.
- • For packers and movers: whether packing material and labour are included.
- • Whether you give a bill, which matters for company reimbursement.
Transport trades and where cards work
| Taxi and cab driver | To every passenger at the end of the trip. Say "call me directly next time". |
|---|---|
| Packers and movers | Society notice boards and estate agents. Moves are planned weeks ahead. |
| Tempo and goods carrier | Wholesale markets, furniture shops and hardware stores. |
| School and office van | Society boards and school gates before the session starts. |
| Courier and delivery | Small shops and online sellers in your area. |
| Ambulance and patient transport | Clinics, labs and old age homes. |
Make your transport card
- 1. Put your service name, or your own name if passengers ask for you personally.
- 2. Write your vehicle and capacity in the services line, like "Ertiga, 6 seater, luggage carrier".
- 3. Use the one-line field for the routes or the promise, like "Airport drops, 24 hours".
- 4. Add WhatsApp so a customer can send a pickup location pin.
- 5. Print extra and keep a stack in the vehicle. This is a trade where you give one away every trip.
The card that lives in the car
Print the same design as a slightly larger card and stick one on the back of the front passenger seat. Every passenger stares at that spot for the whole ride.
Add a QR that saves your contact, and a passenger can save you at a red light without asking you to spell your name.
Common questions
- Should I print my rates on a taxi card?
- Print a per kilometre rate or an airport drop rate if it is stable. Fuel prices move, so keep detailed rates on the page behind the QR.
- Should I print my vehicle number?
- It helps for regular customers who book you again, and it reassures people booking a night trip. Skip it if you change vehicles often.
- What does a packers and movers card most need?
- The cities you cover and whether packing material is included. Those two decide most of the calls you get.
- Do I need a company name if I drive my own car?
- No. Your own name works well, and many passengers prefer dealing with a person rather than a company.
- How do I get repeat business from a card?
- Hand it over and say one sentence: "Next time call me directly, it will be cheaper than the app." The sentence works better than the card alone.
Rates change with fuel. The card does not have to.
Put your routes, rates and vehicle photos on a free Ahoyy page and edit them from your phone.
