The card is 3.5 x 2 inches, the normal Indian visiting card size. 1050 x 600 is 300 dpi, which every press accepts. Ask the printer to keep 3 mm bleed on all sides.

What a health card must carry
- • Consultation timings, morning and evening, written as clock times.
- • Weekly off day. Nothing frustrates a patient more than a closed door.
- • Qualification, in the short form patients recognise.
- • Registration number, if your council requires it on printed matter.
- • A landmark with the address. Patients arrive by auto and the driver needs a landmark.
- • Whether appointments are needed or walk-in is fine.
- • An emergency number, if you offer one.

Make your clinic or health card
- 1. Put the clinic name and the practitioner name with qualification.
- 2. Use the one-line field for timings. It is the most read line on a health card.
- 3. Write the address with a landmark, not just the plot number.
- 4. Pick the office blue or deep green theme. Calm colours suit this work.
- 5. Keep the QR, so a patient can save the clinic number without typing it while unwell.
What not to put on a health card
- • No cure claims and no guarantees. Most medical councils treat that as an advertising violation.
- • No before and after photos of patients.
- • No discount offers on treatment.
- • No patient names or testimonials, even happy ones.
- • Check your own state medical council rules before printing. This tool does not check them for you.

- Can I advertise my clinic on a visiting card?
- A card with your name, qualification, timings and address is normal practice. Claims, offers and testimonials are the parts that get practitioners into trouble. Check your council rules before you print.
- Should the registration number be on the card?
- Many councils require it on printed matter for registered practitioners. It also reassures patients. Confirm the rule that applies to you.
- Which colour is right for a clinic card?
- Blue, green or plain white. They read as clean and calm. Bright colours feel wrong for health work.
- How do I show two clinic locations on one card?
- Print the main clinic on the card and put both, with timings for each, on the page behind the QR. Two full addresses do not fit at a readable size.
- Is a QR code appropriate on a medical card?
- Yes. It only saves your contact details. Keep patient information well away from anything printed.
